We would like to hear from licensed plumbers, plumbing inspectors, code officials and educators who want to help homeowners get accurate answers.
Ways to help
- Review guides. Check guides in your area of work. Reviewers are credited by name, with a profile and a link to their public license lookup.
- Share field notes or photos. Short tips or photos from your own jobs, credited to you and used only with your written permission.
- Write a guest guide. Residential plumbing topics only, written for people without trade training.
Ground rules
- Original work that has not appeared anywhere else.
- Numbers and code claims backed by codes, agencies, manufacturer manuals or university sources.
- No instructions for gas or electrical work beyond basic safety steps.
- We edit what we publish, and you agree to that in writing first.
- If money or a business relationship is involved, the article is labeled “Sponsored” and links to that business use
rel="sponsored".
We turn down off-topic pieces and articles written mainly to carry a link.
Email contact@pipeanswers.com with a short note about your background. Plumbers, please include your license type, state and number.
